BuildOpp is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of leftover construction materials. We provide the platform; we do not own, buy, or sell any materials listed on the site.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Listings and Transactions

  • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings.
  • Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing transactions between themselves.
  • BuildOpp is not a party to any transaction between users.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed.
  • Users are responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding their transactions.

5. Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not list or sell:

  • Stolen materials
  • Hazardous materials (asbestos, lead paint, etc.) without proper disclosure
  • Items that violate any laws or regulations

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features

6. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number and consenting during registration, you agree to receive SMS text messages from BuildOpp regarding your listings, offers, messages, and account activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

7. Intellectual Property

The BuildOpp name, logo, and website design are our property. Users retain ownership of content they post but grant us a license to display and distribute that content on our platform.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

BuildOpp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any transactions between users.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BuildOpp harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
